* Affiliate program directories: These are like the yellow pages for the world wide web and contain such information.
* Affiliate networks: There are affiliate networks that can provide the platform for hundreds of advertisers.
* Target website themselves: Websites offering an affiliate program have titles such as: “affiliate program”, “affiliates”, “referral program”, “webmasters” etc.
* If the above techniques do not work, directly contacting the website owner might help.
What you need to know about affiliate marketing:
* Success of Affiliate marketing for a target website depends on the effective marketing techniques employed by the associates. These are the traditional marketing techniques such as SEO etc.
* Most Affiliate Marketing Programs, in fact eighty percent, use Cost Per Sales (CPS) as compensation method. The other methods of compensation used are Cost Per Action (CPA) which has a share of nineteen percent, with an insignificant share taken by Cost Per Click (CPC) and Cost Per Mile (CPM)
* Most merchant are in favor or Affiliate Marketing as it follows pay for performance model meaning that the merchant does not incur an expense unless an earning is made. Notably, Amazon is a big player practising Affiliate Marketing.
